Dudley’s Coaches from Radford, 
     Worcestershire entered the 55th Brighton UK  
     Coach Rally for the first time last weekend 
     and walked away with two trophies.

     Dudleys was formed in 1938 by Mr Ernie 
     Dudley as a  motor vehicle repair garage.  It 
     was not  until 1954 that the company had its 
     first proper involvement in passenger transport 
     when Ernie bought a Chevrolet school bus to 
     operate a local school  contract from Abbots Morton to Rous Lench.  This Company, now 
     primarily a coach operator is currently run by Ernie’s son Chris.

     Tony Clarke from Pershore who joined Dudley’s in July 2004 represented the company in a 
     1999 Volvo Plaxton Coach.  Tony took part in rally routes, driving tests, then joined a line 
     up of coach entries from all over the UK and his vehicle was judged.
